Project Overview:

Terra Constructs led the complete design-build delivery of its principal headquarters at the Winchester Yard, managing every phase from conceptual planning and permitting through final construction. The project included the creation of a flexible, pre-engineered warehouse structure featuring a 1,400-square-foot interior office, designed to support both administrative functions and active yard operations.

The project began with geotechnical investigations, topographic surveys, and full civil engineering. Terra then performed site clearing, grading, and land stabilization, followed by installation of utility infrastructure including a septic field, water well, stormwater management system, and underground electrical service. Additional site improvements included paved parking lots, concrete curbs, sidewalks, LED yard lighting, landscaping, and perimeter security fencing.

Construction of the building included excavation, foundation and slab placement, and the erection of the pre-engineered metal structure with overhead doors, windows, and exterior signage. The interior office space was fully built out with turnkey finishes and systems integration. The warehouse was outfitted with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and a smart building management system was installed to support long-term energy efficiency and operational monitoring.

In addition to core construction, Terra made improvements to adjacent buildings on the property to support tenant security, site operations, and long-term maintenance needs—demonstrating a holistic approach to facility development and asset management.
