Terra Constructs was proud to serve as the Design-Build Prime Contractor for the comprehensive rehabilitation of Freedom Plaza in partnership with the National Park Service and RRMM Architects.
As one of Washington, D.C.’s most recognizable civic spaces, Freedom Plaza required the expertise of skilled craftspeople across multiple disciplines. From restoring the plaza’s iconic inscriptions and historic graphics to rehabilitating fountains, utilities, mechanical systems, stonework, and public spaces, every detail was carefully executed to preserve the character of this nationally significant landmark while improving its long-term performance.
Projects like Freedom Plaza aren’t simply constructed, they’re thoughtfully restored. Success depends on collaboration between owners, designers, specialty trades, artisans, subcontractors, and dedicated construction professionals working toward a common goal.
