Terra is pleased to welcome Matthew C. Jones as a Project Executive

Mr. Jones will be responsible for our projects in the southeast. Within his role, Mr. Jones will manage Terra’s wide portfolio of infrastructure projects, overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure ongoing client success.

Mr. Jones brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the construction industry, holding pivotal roles such as Project Manager, Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer, Estimator, General Manager, and Vice President. He notably served as Project Manager/Quality Control Manager for a critical $44.5M design-build project for the U.S. Navy at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. This project involved renovating hurricane-damaged buildings totaling over 145,000 square feet, necessitating meticulous coordination of phased construction and temporary facilities. His expertise includes managing day-to-day operations, utilizing advanced scheduling software to maintain project schedules, and ensuring strict adherence to budgetary controls.

Mr. Jones is recognized for his proactive approach in anticipating and resolving issues, negotiating contracts, and fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders, engineers, and government inspectors. He brings a robust background in program management, project estimation, and quality assurance, supported by certifications such as OSHA 30 and Certified Army Corps of Engineer Quality Control Manager.
