Leadership Team
Mr. Mian holds bachelors and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and has completed extensive training in leadership and management at the Wharton Business School.
He works closely with Terra’s team of experienced engineers and construction personnel, providing the vision and leadership required to bring projects in on-time and on-budget, and to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Mrs. Riley transitioned to a role as Corporate Accounting Manager at a Fortune 500 company, overseeing the monthly financial close for all U.S.-based locations and later managing the financial close for NAFTA. Her career progression continued as she moved into the business side, serving as Senior Financial Analyst and Controller.
After a career break to raise her family, Mrs. Riley re-entered the workforce, initially taking on a temporary position as Accounting Manager before working with a local accounting firm, managing the financial records for small businesses. She joined Terra in 2023 as the Director of Accounting and was promoted to Controller in Sept 2024. She currently resides in New Jersey with her spouse of 24 years and their three children. Mrs. Riley holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.
Harris served as the president and CEO of CATI, Inc. for over 20 years, assuming full responsibility for managing daily operations, budgeting, staffing, and much more. He rendered superior service while managing a nine-year term contract for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Asbestos abatement is another area of expertise for Harris, as he provided these services to more than 300 properties in New Jersey over a six-year period. He has successfully created and enforced regulations for compliance with the Federal Environmental Protection Agency with respect to the Asbestos Emergency Response Act (AHERRA).
Harris severed as a senior project manager and has been charged with managing day-to-day operations of all construction projects. These duties included multi-million-dollar federal government construction and environmental contracts annually. A few notable projects included the Holocaust Museum, MACC for the Navy, and the Walter Reed National Medical Facility. With a proven track record in federal project management and environmental compliance work resulting in a safer America, Harris values working in teams for a common goal of target achievement.
Murad’s leadership ability, investment acumen, and operational knowledge has been developed on the buy-side in various asset classes, as an owner-developer in real estate, shareholder-manager in private equity as well as an analyst-fund manager for equity securities. He has a seasoned record of working internationally in India and UAE in real estate and related private equity opportunities. Murad was the Managing Partner for Bristow Commons, an upscale mixed-use development in the Washington DC suburb.
Previously, Murad served as the President of The Plan Source, a civil engineering consulting firm focused on land development planning, engineering and design with an operational office in Bangalore, India. Murad has been a founding member and active shareholder in Bristow Montessori School LLC that has been in operation for over a decade as a premier private school offering in its market as well as ABMS (sold in 2016), which was a facility management company based in Dubai, UAE with over $1
billion in assets under management (AUM) since starting in 2011.
Murad has successfully raised rounds of debt and equity funding in his investments by modeling, structuring, marketing, and closing transactions. He has created economic value for himself and his shareholders by generating 13x return on assets in his commercial real estate investments. Prior to his entrepreneurial roles, Murad co-managed a Morningstar four star rated Mid-Cap Growth Equity Fund with $250MM in assets under management and also a four star Large Cap Growth Fund with $1.4B in assets under management at MTB Investment Advisors. As a planner for the US region at ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing, Murad had the responsibility of an annual capital budget of $300MM. He has delivered over $300MM in assets at various stages of the development cycle and has managed through the real asset lifecycle: from land assemblage, entitlements, permitting, lease up, construction, property management to divestment.
Murad has an undergraduate degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech with Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in Entrepreneurial Management & Marketing. Murad served as the Founder & former Chairman of the Board of Advisors for Bristow Montessori School, Advisory Board Member of Ascent Group in Kashmir, India, and former Board Member for the MCC Medical Clinic, Silver Spring, MD. He enjoys skiing, golf, squash, tennis, photography, motorsports and the outdoors.
Krowne has facilitated leadership and stakeholder approval during land development projects and acquisitions in the Pacific Northwest region of Costa Rica. She also has entrepreneurial experience with contemporary apparel and fashion brands with a women’s start-up despite the competitive market. With strategic market and competitor analysis, Krowne drove operational excellence through cross-functional team leadership, underpinned by controlling costs, market and brand growth, marketing and business planning, while shaping financial frameworks in liaison with sales and design teams.
Having served as the Communications Director and Chief of Staff doing advocacy work for a legal firm for active-duty soldiers’ rights, Krowne was instrumental in the development of the legislation for a high-profile case involving missing soldier Vanessa Guillen, resulting in a further amendment to the Feres Doctrine. Krowne is known for her ability to source and secure capital for various projects. One prestigious secured fund was from a large private equity firm through a data capture as part of a new multimillion-dollar legal field. She also created a significant investor opportunity and generated millions in revenue for group lot project sales through influential negotiations, lead conversion, and financial planning. Krowne sourced additional capital funding to propel business and set up a network of sales channels and manufacturing facilities with leases, insurance, and employee contracts in place. Krowne is equally strong in her interpersonal people and communication skills. Through a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement, she has a proven track record of target achievement and revenue generation.
A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Mr. Hilberath holds over 42 years of experience in design/build and specialty construction with a proven track record in technical, organizational and leadership skills. Eric excels due to his affinity for building exceptional long term client relationships with General Contractors, State Agencies, Vendors, Suppliers and colleagues.
